Dicen™ que Apple lanzaría en el tercer trimestre del 2009 un iPod Touch que destacaría por una generosa pantalla táctil de entre 7 y 9 pulgadas. Con esto tendríamos un genial reproductor de medios portátil en el que podríamos ver tranquilamente una película subtitulada con relativa comodidad.
Lo cierto es que con ese tamaño el nuevo iPod Touch alcanzaría las dimensiones de un PMP propiamente tal y a su favor corre la posibilidad para visualizar y descargar contenido en línea y/o programas mediante la iTunes App Store.
Respecto a su precio aún no hay mayores menciones, pero claramente debería superar los USD$399 de la versión actual de 32GB; y en lo relativo a sus especificaciones tampoco hay mayores menciones, pero Dicen™ que podría fluctuar entre 720 x 480 a 800 x 480 píxeles lo que no suena nada mal.
Otras interrogantes que quedan sin resolver por el momento son las relativas a la autonomía de un dispositivo de este tamaño (considerando lo delgados que suelen ser los "iTouch") y si será dotado de mayores capacidades, tanto de almacenamiento (32GB pueden hacerse escasos para almacenar vídeos) como de procesamiento para lograr una suerte de TabletPC, cuestión que en lo personal tiendo a mirar con desconfianza.
